This was a marble top coffee table!!  YES.  And by the time I got to it the marble had been long gone.  A piece of plywood added for the base, then foam wrapped in dacron,  then a bit of fabric.  And,  now you have a pink velvet tufted bench that when you add a tray goes back to it's original coffee table status!!
