HI!!!
.. and welcome to Not Too Shabby ..
My name is Liz ..
.. and this is a little bit about me ..
When I was a little girl I used to love to help my Dad.
He taught me how to paint.
I hear his words in my head every time I am painting.
My dad passed away before I opened Not Too Shabby.
Actually, it was his passing that made me realize that life is
WAY TOO SHORT .
I worked in the Garment Center in NYC for 32 years and
when he passed decided I needed something different,
something creative and inspiring.
That is when I opened NOT TOO SHABBY.
it was everything I love....
from
Scouring Flea Markets and Estate Sales for "stuff" that needs help!!
to
Transforming things from "destined for the garbage" to OMG Amazing!!!
to
Finding them new homes!!!
Not Too Shabby was open for 15 years in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ.
The physical location closed in 2020.
I thank all my clients (who were more like friends)
in New Jersey for years of support. I will miss you all.
I moved to South Florida and the business continues.
I offer In-Home Furniture Painting
and Design Services.
There is no physical location.
I come to you,
saving the hassle of moving your piece!!
In addition, I offer a small selection of painted
(and yet to be finished) pieces.
Any piece in the Unfinished Furniture Section
can be done any way you want,
just as long as you get to it before I do !!
